Deep & Spring Cleaning in San Diego
A top-to-bottom clean for the home you live in. Seasonal, before an event, or just because it has been a while.
A deep clean for an occupied home
A deep clean is the visit that gets to everything a weekly tidy-up never reaches: the baseboards, the cabinet fronts, the shower grout, the top of the fridge, the blinds. It is built for a home people are living in, with furniture, kitchens in use and a family's worth of everyday dust, so our cleaner works around your things rather than an empty room.
Many San Diego homeowners book one each spring. Others book one before guests arrive, before a party or the holidays, after a remodel, or simply because life got busy and the house got away from them. It is also the right first visit before starting regular cleaning, so the weekly or biweekly visits that follow can keep the home at that level.
One-time and occasional cleans
Not ready for a schedule? A one-time clean works the same way. Things get stressful after a messy stretch or before a special occasion, and an occasional deep clean takes it off your list. There is no commitment: call when you need it, and call again whenever you need the next one.
Why spring cleaning is worth it
A thorough clean once a year does more than make the house look good. Clearing dust and clutter helps with allergies, a tidy and organized home is easier to live in, and starting the season with everything clean makes the weekly upkeep lighter. San Diego homes collect fine dust from dry Santa Ana days and open windows, and a deep clean is the reset.
Handy tip: before the visit, set aside anything you want left alone and clear the counters you want wiped. More of the visit then goes to cleaning.
Supplies
For spring cleaning and deep cleans, our cleaner comes equipped for the job. If you have products you prefer, or surfaces that need something special, leave them out and let us know when you book.
How booking works
- Call, text or request a quote. Tell us the size of the home, the kind of clean, and the day that works.
- We send one of our cleaners. Maid in America matches you with one of our trusted, experienced cleaners and schedules a convenient time. You get a confirmation call the evening before.
- Hand over your priority list. A short "order of importance" list means the things that matter most get done first. Larger homes may need extra time; we'll talk through it when you book.
Questions
Deep & Spring Cleaning FAQ
It depends on the size and condition of the home. A larger home (over about 2,000 square feet) or one that has not had a thorough clean in a while may need extra time; we'll talk through it when you book. A priority list makes sure the most important rooms are done first.
A deep clean covers the detail work: baseboards, cabinet fronts, grout, blinds, fans and the hard-to-reach spots. Regular cleaning keeps a home at that level week to week. Most people start with a deep clean, then move to weekly, biweekly or monthly visits.
We encourage you to be home for the first visit to show your cleaner around. If you cannot be, use the confirmation call the evening before to explain what you need.
